FLOW (Falling Love Ones Wings) In 2008, my son, Aaron Sean Flowers, was taken from us at just 19 years old. His death was a tragedy, but his legacy became my mission.
We provide comprehensive, outcomes-driven services—from food access to stable housing—addressing immediate needs and advancing long-term stability with dignity and integrity.

Care Closet: essentials for individuals and families in transition—so no one goes without. Hygiene & Dignity Kits, Baby Essentials, Adult Diapers, seasonal gear (new socks, coats, underwear), and Safe Care (condoms, health resources).
FLOW Wall of Fame 2025 — New Castle County Parks & Recreation Award Awarded in recognition of exemplary service delivered through the FLOW Food Pantry at Garfield Park. 2024 — The Jefferson Award, Multiplying Good The nation's most prestigious public service honor, conferred upon Shawna Flowers for demonstrated leadership and community impact. 2023 — City of Wilmington Resolution Formally adopted by Wilmington City Council in acknowledgment of FLOW's sustained commitment to family support and violence prevention. 2023 — Compassionate Champion Award Presented by the Governor's Office in recognition of excellence in trauma-informed care and community service.
